Join Wired for the Future Ltd. as a full-time Computer and Network Technician in Ottawa, Ontario. This role emphasizes installation and troubleshooting of hardware, networks, and security tasks.
In this Level 2 position, you will be responsible for setting up and maintaining computer networks while providing technical support to end-users. Your role will require a strong knowledge of networking principles and protocols, as well as experience with network security technologies. Collaborating with other IT professionals, you will design and implement efficient network infrastructure across client sites.
Key Responsibilities:• Install and configure hardware, software, and peripherals • Maintain computer networks including routers, switches, and firewalls • Monitor and ensure network performance and security • Provide technical support to end-users for various issues • Document network configurations and procedures
Requirements:• 2 years of experience in computer networking • 2 years of experience as a computer technician • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP and Ethernet • Valid Class G licence • On-site installation experience
