We are seeking Building Systems Students for our Ottawa District on a project in Ottawa, ON, within our Canadian Buildings Division, that are available for 4 months from September 2026 to December 2026.Responsibilities
Updates and submits mechanical and electrical shop drawings Reviews and verifies site installations. Assists with quality control. Updates and inputs the commissioning schedule. Witnesses and coordinates commissioning activities. Assists with Request for Information (RFI) tracking and processing.Performs on-site coordination with trades and reviews progress on site. Tracks deficiencies. Assists other project managers on the project related to other disciplines/trades. Qualifications
Working towards a degree or diploma in a mechanical engineering related field. A passion for working in a construction environment. Ability to review shop and construction drawings. Self‑motivation with a hands‑on approach. Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally, with a variety of different partners.Prior field construction experience is considered an asset.
