Position Overview

KRSS Services– Ottawa’s Child Care Staffing Agency is hiring childcare workers for a permanent part‑time position. Shift Details

• Must reside in Ottawa for more than three months. • Work 3–5 days a week during 8‑am to 6‑pm hours on weekdays. • 8‑hour shifts at regular business times. • Travel within city limits required. Key Responsibilities

Support regular staff as needed. Ensure safety of children by supervising them at all times. Perform toileting routines, including diaper changes. Promote physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children. Provide opportunities for children to express creativity through play. Maintain classroom tidiness and cleanliness.Use appropriate techniques to manage challenging behaviours. Serve nutritious snacks using proper food‑handling techniques. Assist with laundry, toy/equipment disinfecting, and light cleaning duties. Recognize, respect, and respond to diversity within the program. Qualifications&Requirements

Resume showing related childcare experience and/or education. Standard First Aid and CPR Level C. Police Check for the Vulnerable Sector. Immunization records up‑to‑date and proof of immunity from Chicken Pox. Experience with special‑needs children is an asset. Strong knowledge of child development.Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. Problem‑solving ability and proactive thinker. Effective time‑manager and multi‑tasker. Ability to work both independently and in a team environment. Benefits
