Senior Mechanical Designer with SolidWorks, Ahuntsic North

We are looking for a highly skilled Mechanical Designer passionate about engineering and prototyping. You will collaborate with a cross-functional team to create mechanical solutions that meet strict performance and regulatory standards. The role requires a deep understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics, ensuring compliance with relevant testing standards.

Key Responsibilities:• Design mechanical assemblies using SolidWorks and FEA analysis • Support prototyping activities and design iterations • Apply hydraulic and pneumatic knowledge in design • Ensure compliance with MIL-STD-810 and FMVSS standards • Manage design data and documentation within a PLM system

Requirements:• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent • 5+ years of experience in mechanical assembly design • Proficiency in SolidWorks, including FEA tools • Hands-on experience with prototyping and mechanical tools • Familiarity with weld design and stamping processes
