Description
Clinical Psychologists, Health Psychologists and/or Neuropsychologists
We also accept professionals who plan to complete their supervised practice at the doctoral level (i.e., Ph.D., Psy.D., Ed.D.).
Location: Hybrid (In-person and virtual)
About the Opportunity NPSCSPN is currently seeking Psychologists with a declared area of competency with the CPABAO in working with children, adolescents, adults and/or families.
Our approach is grounded in person-centred, culturally responsive, and integrity.
At NPSC, each clinician brings their own expertise, perspective, and approach. What connects us is a shared commitment to providing thoughtful, flexible, and responsive care to the children, youth, adults and families we work with.
We are building a professional culture that centres equity, fosters open and honest dialogue, respects difference, acknowledges power dynamics, and puts inclusion into practice, not just words.
You are authorized for autonomous practice with the CPBAO or are seeking supervised practice. Your declared client populations include children, adolescents, adults and/or families. Your primary area of practice is in Clinical Psychology or Clinical Neuropsychology. Additional areas of practice are considered added value.
Proficiency in a language other than English (e.g., French, Arabic, Mandarin, Spanish) is also considered a strong asset in supporting our diverse client community.
You will work as an independent contractor, retaining autonomy while benefiting from a supportive, organized, and ethical clinical environment.
Clinical Autonomy&Tools
It is your own schedule; take a vacation when you need it, no approval process required.
A Microsoft Business account (i.e., email, cloud storage, tools) is provided for all clinical work, which are PIPEDA and PHIPA compliant.
Access to all required assessment tools (e.g., Q-interactive, scoring software). If a measure or test you need is not available, we will get it if it is part of your regular work.
Standard forms are provided (e.g., Consent Forms, Release of Information) and can be customized to your practice.
Administrative and Clinical Support
We want your energy going toward client care, not paperwork.
A practice manager will handle all administrative tasks, including intake, forms, scheduling, communication, referrals, billing and the waiting list.
A fully furnished office (e.g., desk, couch, toys, printer) will be available for your in-person days. We use JaneApp with additional features: Direct insurance billing.
Built-in secure faxing, AI-powered Smart SOAP Notes: a PHIPA-compliant tool with JaneApp.
Our clinic operates on a transparent, small flat-fee plus percentage model, designed to cover shared costs while remaining fair to practitioners.
A low, flat monthly fee applies, depending on your service type (therapy, assessment, or a mix).
A declining percentage fee is then applied to your monthly gross billings. The percentage decreases as your revenue increases, and as more clinicians join the practice, the lowest tier is reviewed downward to ensure equity.
The range is between 25% and 13%, depending on your gross monthly billings and the number of active clinicians. This structure ensures that overheads are shared fairly, your take-home grows as you grow your caseload, and you directly benefit when the clinic expands, since the clinic % is reviewed after new clinicians have been established in practice.
Further details about the specific flat fees and percentage tiers will be provided during the interview and outlined in the professional services agreement.
Team Culture and Professional Development Monthly team meetings to make collective decisions and ensure open communication. The clinic is structured more like a cooperative than a hierarchy; no top-down decisions. Followed by a social or professional development session, rotating monthly, so it does not always affect the same clinicians.
Space and Work Model The clinic operates on a hybrid model. Each clinician will have an assigned in-person day, with the flexibility to provide virtual services the rest of the week. We are intentionally starting small, with a maximum of six clinicians, to preserve the quality of services and cultivate a strong, supportive team culture.
