Test Technician– Internship (Altitude Test Facility) Principal responsibility: conduct engine installation and test procedures for the Altitude Testing Facility. Manage day‑to‑day test activities on development test engines, test sections, control systems, accessories, and components.
What will your day‑to‑day look like?
Gain knowledge in engine testing and behavior at various atmospheric conditions.
Work with engineers and technicians to obtain experience in altitude engine testing.
Adapt to plan/priority changes; troubleshoot and investigate unplanned issues.
Collaborate with the ATF team to create/update standard work procedures and best practices for facility operation and special test setups.
What you need to be successful
Eligible to work in Canada.
Enrolled in a Canadian university throughout the internship.
Able to work on‑site in the province where hired.
Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
Excellent communication skills in English (spoken/written); French is an asset.
Adaptable, self‑motivated, with good technical aptitude.
Can work effectively in fast‑paced environment.
Compensation Salary range: 23.10 to 33.30 CAD.
