In this pivotal role, you will orchestrate Seaspan's government engagement strategies while reporting to the Vice President, Government Relations. Your responsibilities include building essential relationships with regulators and drafting impactful policy documents that align with our business goals. Engage actively to influence decision-making processes that will foster Seaspan’s long-term growth and market position.
Key Responsibilities:• Conduct intelligence gathering on policy and program initiatives • Define strategic positioning per the evolving political landscape • Draft reports and advocacy strategies for key stakeholders • Lead teams in government-related advocacy efforts • Support public engagement initiatives that enhance Seaspan’s objectives
Requirements:• Bachelor's degree in government or public policy • Minimum 10 years in government relations or advocacy roles • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills • Effective interpersonal communication with diverse groups • Experience in Canadian government procurement preferred
