Position Purpose Under the supervision of the Senior Specialist, Research Management, performs a variety of activities in support of the sector's financial operations, while ensuring compliance with related policies and procedures. Participates in other administrative functions (maintenance of office equipment, mail distribution, etc.) as required.

Qualifications

Knowledge of administrative and accounting principles, normally acquired through post‑secondary education in a related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.

At least two years of demonstrated experience in a similar role.

Knowledge of computer systems and software, including financial systems, spreadsheets, databases, Internet and e‑mail.

Experience interpreting, explaining and applying policies and regulations.

Experience in preparing reports.

Ability to produce high quality work under pressure, while meeting tight deadlines.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Good organizational skills.

Bilingualism French and English (spoken and written); candidates must be rated at the Low Advanced proficiency level or higher for both oral comprehension and reading comprehension in their second official language.
