Field Mechanic Apprentice Role GIP, Ahuntsic North

Join the Green Infrastructure Partners Inc. team as a Field Mechanic Apprentice. This role focuses on troubleshooting and maintaining crucial equipment for construction and paving projects in various settings.

As an apprentice, you will report to the Shop Supervisor and will be actively involved in field service calls and machinery repairs. Required skills include expertise in construction equipment, hydraulic systems, and good communication skills for effective collaboration. Candidates should be prepared for on-call shifts, especially during winter operations and demonstrate flexibility in handling varied equipment.

Key Responsibilities:• Conduct field service repairs on-site and in-shop • Maintain and overhaul various machinery systems • Offer support for winter operations on a rotational basis • Communicate efficiently with team members • Troubleshoot and prioritize repair tasks effectively

Requirements:• 421A Certification mandatory • Relevant experience in equipment repair • Ownership of personal tools essential • Valid driver’s license with a clean record • Familiarity with electronic resources and systems
