The successful candidate will work under the Principal's direction, delivering high-quality play-based education tailored to the unique needs of young learners at OCDSB schools. You'll play an integral role in daily classroom activities, fostering strong relationships with students, and managing extended programs aimed at enhancing children's development. Your creativity and initiative will help support every child’s academic journey.
Key Responsibilities:• Implement play-based education strategies for all students • Support teaching staff in daily classroom activities • Facilitate before and after school programs effectively • Maintain effective communication with parents and staff • Participate in children's social-emotional growth and well-being
Requirements:• Completion of a two-year Early Childhood Education program • Good standing with Ontario College of Early Childhood Educators • Minimum of one year in childcare settings • Current First Aid/CPR certification • Up-to-date Police Records Check for Vulnerable Sector
