DHL Express is looking for a

Casual Driver

in Ottawa, ON. This role involves completing assigned deliveries and pickups, scanning and processing freight, sorting inbound material within deadlines, and supporting warehouse operations. Hours:

Casual, shifts may be scheduled between Monday to Friday, 9am to 8pm Wage:

$23.33/hour, increasing as per the Collective Bargaining Agreement Main Tasks&Responsibilities

Drive a van to complete assigned deliveries and pickups Lift and carry parcels up to 70 lbs per piece throughout shift Scan and process freight as per agreed procedures and Security Policies Accurately sort and process inbound material by deadlines Move freight within the warehouse area as requiredAssist Tracing Department with warehouse checks for missorts and on-hands Perform accurate reporting Participate in warehouse organization and clean-up Maintain a safe and cooperative work environment Interact with customers over phone and in person Minimum Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent Valid G driver's licence and clean driving record Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and handle bulky, heavy, awkward shipments Good knowledge of MS Office, including Excel Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team Ability to multi-task and work under pressureAble to stand for long periods of time Minimum one year warehouse/customer service experience (asset) Understanding of First Choice Programs and Global SOP (asset) High school diploma or equivalent, valid G driver's licence, clean driving record, ability to lift up to 70 lbs, good MS Office knowledge including Excel, minimum one year warehouse or customer service experience (asset)
