We are seeking reliable and hardworking General Labourers to support asphalt and roadwork operations. This role involves working as part of a crew to assist with asphalt installation, maintenance, and repair projects while maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency on site.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with preparation, placement, and finishing of asphalt surfaces

Perform manual labour tasks such as shoveling, raking, and spreading asphalt

Support equipment operators and skilled trades as needed

Load and unload tools, materials, and equipment

Maintain a clean and organized worksite

Follow all health and safety regulations and procedures

Direct traffic when required and ensure site safety

Perform additional general labour duties as assigned

Requirements

Previous experience in construction, asphalt, or general labour is an asset

Ability to perform physically demanding work outdoors

Strong work ethic, reliability, and teamwork skills

Willingness to work early mornings, extended hours, and weekends if required

Valid driver’s license is an asset

Mandatory PPE

CSA-approved steel toe boots (no runners)

Jeans or work pants (no joggers or sweatpants)

Hard hat (preferred; can be provided if needed)

Working Conditions

Outdoor work in varying weather conditions

Frequent lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods

Exposure to heavy equipment and active construction environments
