This role includes preparing schedules for the following day, ensuring all shipments are tracked, and managing the dispatches for the day. The Dispatcher serves as the primary point of contact and coordination for the drivers under their supervision, providing immediate updates and resolving any issues as they arise.The primary goal of the Dispatcher is to optimize scheduling efficiency while minimizing costs and one-time scheduling (LFD and Per Diems), thereby maximizing profitability and achieving key performance indicators upon the completion of each load.
