Electrical Designer, Ahuntsic North

Larouche Campeau&Associés S.E.N.C. (LCA) is seeking a Electrical Engineer to support the design and delivery of building electrical systems. The position is based in Ottawa, Ontario, serving clients across the National Capital Region, Outaouais, and the Greater Montreal area.

LCA is an engineering consulting firm specializing in mechanical, electrical, structural engineering, and energy efficiency. Recognized for its technical rigor and client-focused approach, LCA delivers tailored engineering solutions to public and private sector clients, from concept development through construction.

Responsibilities and Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering

Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario (PEO) or eligible for licensure

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in building electrical design

Experience in power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and other electrical systems design

Experience preparing specifications and technical reports

Strong verbal and written communication skills (English required; bilingualism an asset)

Performing detailed engineering calculations (load calculations, short‑circuit analysis, voltage drop, coordination studies, etc.)

Developing models using AutoCAD or REVIT

Producing construction drawings and technical specifications

Preparing technical reports
