The University of Ottawa invites applications for a Part time Professor in Introduction to Syntax for the Winter 2027 semester. This role focuses on teaching analysis and theoretical argumentation effectively. As part of the Department of Linguistics, you will educate a class of 75 students on syntactic theory.This course, held in person, aims to enhance students’ analytical skills while thoroughly covering crucial concepts in syntax. The instructor is expected to enrich students’ understanding in a supportive academic setting. Key Responsibilities

Teach Introduction to Syntax (LIN2310) engagingly Guide students in developing analysis and argumentation skills Evaluate student work and provide constructive feedback Collaborate with faculty on academic initiatives Promote respect and inclusion within the learning environment Requirements
