Become part of the University of Ottawa’s faculty as an instructor for Introduction to Syntax in Winter 2027. Teach essential syntactic theories and engage with eager students in person. We are seeking a Regular Part time Professor with a Ph.D. (either completed or in progress) in Linguistics, specializing in syntax.You will guide a class of 90 students through foundational aspects of syntactic theory, analysis, and argumentation during the scheduled classes every Tuesday and Friday. Key Responsibilities

Instruct and facilitate the Introduction to Syntax course Prepare engaging lectures and instructional materials Assess student work and provide constructive feedback Lead discussions in an interactive classroom setting Collaborate with other faculty members on departmental initiatives Requirements
