VR-AR Software Development role at Conestoga College. This hybrid position focuses on developing and testing augmented and virtual reality platforms to support research. The position is for students, approximately 35 hours weekly, from September through December. Developers will participate in software design and quality testing while gathering requirements in an Agile setting. Ideal candidates demonstrate proficiency in coding languages and a strong collaborative approach.Responsibilities
Develop and test augmented/virtual reality applications Support research projects with effective software solutions Assist in collecting project requirements Engage in Agile software development practices Utilize Microsoft technologies for application design Requirements
Development skills in C++, C#, and Unity3D Familiarity with audio/graphical asset management techniques Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies Strong communication skills within a team setting Experience in education or healthcare is beneficial
