Personal Support Workers (PSWs) support and deliver all personalized activities of daily living that meet residents’ needs. This includes ambulatory support, personal hygiene, companionship, and nutritional support. PSWs are an integral part of a multi‑disciplinary team, building trusted relationships with residents, families, and colleagues through continuous, effective communication.PSWs document task completion on an electronic health record platform throughout their shift and quickly identify and communicate changes in resident care needs to clinical leads. Qualifications

Personal Support Worker certification from a certified educational facility, or internationally educated nurse. Strong drive, respect, and an understanding of the emotional and physical demands of the role. Team‑work and customer‑service focus, with the ability to build trusted relationships.Strong written and oral communication skills. Demonstrated organizational and time‑management skills. Volunteer or working experience in a senior living setting is an asset, not required. Current Basic Cardiac Life Support and First Aid certification. Current (within six months) vulnerable sector check, including a criminal background check, or willingness to obtain one.Recognition
