Packager Role at Steel Technologies, Ahuntsic North

Become a Packager at Steel Technologies, operating banding equipment to ensure materials are properly prepared for shipment. Your role focuses on packaging specifications and customer satisfaction.

In this position, you'll handle various equipment, including forklifts and cranes, to package materials according to customer requirements. You'll also ensure proper identification and segregation of materials and maintain the cleanliness of your work area. Key Responsibilities:• Setup and operate banding equipment for packaging • Prepare skids according to customer specifications • Safely transport materials using forklift or crane • Maintain clean and organized packaging area • Load, unload, and stack materials as needed

Requirements:• Familiarity with tape measures, micrometers, and calipers • Ability to comply with safety regulations • Forklift Certification or Crane Training required • Strong communication skills • Physical ability to lift and move materials up to 75 pounds
