PLM/CAD intern (Laval)

We are looking for a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) intern. The objective of this position is to complement the technical and business development teams in place at our office in Laval. Who we are: Optimec Consultants is a company delivering high-value-added engineering projects and solutions, mainly in the aerospace, transport and mobility, and industrial equipment sectors. We are both consultants and resellers of software solutions for Dassault Systems and MSC Software-Hexagon. Summary of functions: The PLM intern will support the PLM consultants on the implementation and adoption of PLM platform solutions. He has a good knowledge of the main PLM processes (document, change, lifecycle management, etc.) and of Computer Aided Design (CAD) authoring tools. The PLM intern helps the PLM consultants during all steps of the customer’s issue resolution. He is also involved in training, in addition to assisting the sales team, in pre-sale activities. Responsibilities: - Document customers’ requirements and business processes. - Participate in pre-sale meetings doing technical demonstration of the 3DExperience platform. - Support internal application development initiatives on the 3DExperience platform. Requirements - Technical diploma or bachelor’s in mechanical or industrial engineering in progress. - Experience with CATIA V5 or 3DExperience. - Knowledge of PLM software, ideally 3DExperience. - Programming experience with python, java, etc. - Resourceful, autonomous and self-motivated. - Excellent learning skills. - Positive written and oral communication skills in French and English.
