Quebec - Hybrid The Officer, Community Fundraising (Bilingual) will report to the Director, Community Fundraising and work alongside the Events and Community Fundraising Team, as well as internal stakeholders, to support fundraising through the execution of CysticFibrosis Canada event activity in Quebec. Responsibilities Fundraising - Contribute to departmental planning and goal setting; track progress against key performance indicators and provide regular reports. - Monitor incoming funds related to events and activities. - Support fundraising growth through relationship management of donors and participants from third‑party events. - Create and implement acquisition plans for event donors; identify, cultivate and solicit new community fundraisers. - Collaborate with internal teams to ensure sponsorship benefits are met and post‑event debriefs are provided timely. - Achieve event revenue targets by maximizing participation, donations, GIK donations and sponsorship. Event Management - Support a portfolio of third‑party fundraisers and event participants in reaching their goals. - Manage project execution of event activity, including logistics, recruitment, budget and volunteer management, and health and safety. - Serve as key contact for fundraisers; provide ongoing engagement and coaching. - Build and deploy surveys and debriefs; analyze post‑activity campaigns. - Develop innovative ideas to enhance events and programs, including collateral and materials aligned with brand standards. - Support volunteer and committee recruitment, onboarding, and website inquiries for events. - Develop event websites when needed; cultivate and steward relationships with local partners, vendors, sponsors and participants. - Attend events to support local execution and collaborate with the Quebec Director for knowledge sharing. Stewardship, Marketing and Communications - Develop fundraising and stewardship content with the Marketing and Communications team (email copy, social media, telephone stewardship, website, virtual presentations). - Maintain an annual calendar of recognition, stewardship and cultivation events. - Deploy e‑communications to participants, manage data lists and update Raisers Edge. - Identify donors for additional stewardship touch points (phone calls, gifts, cards). - Create fundraising content for social media and support digital and third‑party fundraising tools. - Manage participant registrations on CrowdChange (or other CRM platforms) and support local volunteer teams. Other - Maintain consistent and accurate data in Raisers Edge. - Keep current knowledge of fundraising best practices in Quebec. - Represent Cystic Fibrosis Canada at meetings and fundraising events when needed. - Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications - Post‑secondary certificate/diploma in fundraising, event planning, volunteer management or a related field is a robust asset. - 2–3 years of fundraising experience with a proven track record of achieving fundraising goals across multiple properties. - Highly organised, detail‑oriented and able to multi‑task across competing priorities. - Experience with volunteer management and working with volunteer committees. - Strong project management and data‑analysis skills. - Strong written and verbal communication skills, including email copywriting. - Exceptional customer
service and relationship‑management skills. - Team‑player capable of working independently and using initiative. - Proficient with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, databases (Raisers Edge & CrowdChange an asset) and graphic programs (e.g., Canva, InDesign). - Bilingual in French and English; excellent verbal and written communication in both languages. - Valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle is an asset.
