Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our agile culinary team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen by preparing high-quality dishes and supporting the overall food service process. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, food safety, and delivering excellent customer experiences in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Duties Prepare ingredients and assist in meal preparation according to recipes and standards Cook and assemble dishes with attention to presentation and quality Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety guidelines Assist with food handling, storage, and inventory management Support the kitchen team during busy hours, ensuring timely service Follow all health and safety regulations related to food preparation and handling Assist in cleaning kitchen equipment and maintaining sanitation standards throughout the shift Qualifications Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments preferred Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety practices Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a quick-paced setting Solid understanding of serving, meal preparation, and food handling procedures Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration Basic knowledge of the food industry standards and customer service expectations Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and quality in all aspects of work Pay: $19.60-$22.60 per hour Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2oqksm
