Our Company: Presteve Foods Limited is a fish processing and distribution plant that was established in 1980. We sell the highest quality fish found in the Great Lakes. Due to our continuous growth, we are looking for reliable full time staff members to join our growing plant facility. Job Responsibilities: · Lift and carry baskets of raw fish, weighing up to 50lbs each to production line for processing · Inspect, grade, scale, and pack fish · Maintain clean working environment · Adhere to Food Safety, Health & Safety standards · Forklift experience considered an asset but will train in house · Work as part of a team and independently · Must be able to work in a cold environment · Must be reliable and dedicated · A willingness to develop, desire to learn and be trained in other areas is an asset · Additional duties as required Qualifications: ● We are looking for those with the initiative to work hard and learn our processes ● Must be reliable Physical Abilities: ● Employee must be able to stand for long periods of time ● Employee must be able to bend, lift and twist ● Employee must be able to lift to 50lbs Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act: Presteve Foods is an inclusive employer that is committed to promoting dignity, equal prospect, and integration within the workplace.
