Part-Time Registered Practical Nurse at Hospice, Leamington

This temporary position requires a dedicated RPN for up to six months, reporting to the Hospice Residence Manager. You will apply your clinical expertise to provide exceptional end-of-life care, coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, and enhance the quality of life for patients and families. Your responsibilities will include assessing patients’ needs, implementing care plans that prioritize comfort and dignity, and managing complex clinical situations.

Key Responsibilities:• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments using CHPCA standards • Implement individualized care plans aligning with patient goals • Administer medications and provide hands-on care • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for seamless care • Educate families on end-of-life processes and care plans

Requirements:• Registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario • Minimum three years’ experience in palliative or end-of-life care • Knowledge of pain and symptom management • Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends • Strong communication and critical thinking abilities
