CNC MACHINIST– Nisku, Alberta Our West Edmonton shop is expanding its CNC capabilities and needs a tech‑savvy operator. Get a permanent home where you’ll run new CNC machines and be mentored on manual equipment, ensuring you become an elite, well‑rounded machinist.
**Compensation**: $40–$45/hour (scaled to your CNC expertise).
**Benefits**: Full permanent benefits and a pension/RRSP program.
**Shift**: Rotation Schedule– 3 weeks on days / 3 weeks on nights (with premiums).

Modern, clean, safe shop focusing on high‑spec energy sector work.
Responsibilities
Operate and fine‑tune brand‑new CNC machinery.
Shadow senior machinists to learn the "art" of manual boring and threading for heavy repair.
Balance high‑volume CNC runs with custom manual repairs for oilfield equipment.
Select and maintain tooling for various materials, including carbon and stainless steel.
Follow strict shop safety protocols and ensure all parts meet 100% accuracy.
Qualifications
Broad expertise working with diverse production or specialized job shops.
Desire to move beyond basic CNC and master the full scope of machining.
Open to journeypersons or senior‑level apprentices with strong work ethic.
Reliable transport and commitment to rotating shift schedule.
Positive attitude and drive to contribute to a high‑performing team.
