Key Responsibilities: Set up, adjust and operate EBF/Koike Plasma Metal cutting machine as specified by work order and customer needs Comprehend written work instructions, work orders, basic blueprints/drawings, and plan work sequence accordingly Accurately set controls for speed, feed rate depth and angle Use basic measuring devices, including tape measure, calipers and micrometers Operate material handling equipment such as; Overhead Cranes, forklifts, etc. Perform the burning process which includes completing all cutting functions according to drawings, continuously monitoring and inspecting job for quality, cutting and removal of scrap material, machine adjustments to achieve optimal performance, handling and moving materials and pieces, etc. Possess a solid safety awareness, perform duties in a safe manner and comply with all Health and Safety procedures Other tasks and responsibilities as required Requirements: Previous experience operating oxy fuel/plasma cutting machines in a metal fabrication environment is an asset Reading and writing English, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints/drawings Ability to stand, lift, and perform various other physical functions Must be mechanically inclined, production oriented, and quality conscious Must be able to work day Job Types: Full time, Permanent Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour Perks: Casual dress Company pension Dental care On-site parking RRSP match Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2ojggg
