Junior Designer for Pressure Vessel Projects, Nisku

Embark on a rewarding career as a Junior Designer specializing in pressure vessel projects within the oil and gas industry. Work alongside a Senior Designer to create detailed construction drawings and fabrication layouts, using advanced CAD software.

This position requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual skilled in collaboration and communication. You will be responsible for producing PFDs, P&IDs, and modifying drawings based on project needs. The ideal candidate is self-motivated and eager to enhance their skills in a fast-paced drafting environment.

Key Responsibilities:• Create comprehensive CAD drawings for various structures • Design pressure vessels including heaters and towers • Produce and modify PFDs and piping layouts • Collaborate with project teams to ensure design accuracy • Prepare electrical drawings and coordinate disciplines

Requirements:• Design/drafting diploma or equivalent education • Familiarity with oil and gas projects is preferred • Knowledge of relevant codes like ASME and B-31.3 • Strong organizational abilities and detail orientation • Must be authorized to work in Canada
