Senior Driving Instructor (Beaumont)

Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Driving Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and mentoring new drivers, ensuring they develop safe and confident driving skills. This role involves delivering comprehensive driving instruction, fostering a positive learning environment, and guiding students through their journey to becoming responsible drivers. The Senior Driving Instructor will also contribute to curriculum development and support junior instructors in their skilled growth. Responsibilities - Conduct one-on-one and group driving lessons tailored to individual student needs - Develop and implement effective lesson plans that adhere to safety standards and curriculum guidelines - Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance learning outcomes - Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and progress reports - Ensure all lessons are conducted in accordance with state regulations and safety protocols - Mentor junior instructors, sharing best practices and supporting their development - Stay updated on traffic laws, safety regulations, and instructional techniques to ensure high-quality teaching - Foster a positive, patient, and encouraging environment that promotes student confidence and safety Experience - Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, preferably within a classroom or instructional setting - Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and effectively - Prior classroom experience is advantageous but not mandatory; relevant driving instruction experience is essential - Demonstrated ability to mentor or lead others in a professional setting - Knowledge of traffic laws, safety standards, and best practices in driver education is required This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by shaping responsible drivers while advancing your career in driver education.
