We are seeking a Quality Control Inspector to join our team, with a minimum of AMPP CIP Level 1 or 2 . Responsibilities include: Carrying out coating inspections for coating activities Surface preparation and coating inspections Read blueprints and specifications. Maintain the in-house quality documentation Ensure the in-house quality program is being followed Provide support to coating staff with required paint touch-ups as needed Monitor operations to ensure that they meet production standards. Recommend adjustments to the assembly or production process. Inspect, test, or measure materials or products being produced. Measure products with rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers Operate electronic inspection equipment and software Accept or reject finished items Report inspection and test data such as weights, temperatures, grades, moisture content, and quantities inspected Answer to the Quality Assurance Manager Working weekends may be a requested. Qualifications AMPP CIP Level 1 Minimum Requirement Completion of post-secondary diploma or degree preferred A minimum 3 years of experience with abrasive blasting and coating application. A minimum 1 year quality control related experience. Must have own transportation as travel to other shop locations is required. Must be able to pass Drug/Alcohol test. Must be willing to work over-time when required. Safety tickets such as Confined Space, Fall Arrest, Ariel Work Platform, and CSTS preferred.
