Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Aluminum Welder to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for welding aluminum components with precision and efficiency, ensuring high-quality standards are met. This role requires a solid understanding of welding techniques, blueprint reading, and mechanical systems, contributing to the production of durable and reliable aluminum structures and ductwork. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where safety, craftsmanship, and attention to detail are paramount. Responsibilities - Perform MIG welding on aluminum materials according to detailed blueprints and schematics - Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions - Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, and press brake machines to shape and assemble components - Conduct rigging operations for lifting and positioning heavy parts using cranes or forklifts - Measure materials with calipers and other precision tools to ensure accurate fabrication - Operate machining equipment for finishing welds or preparing materials for assembly - Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols - Assist in the assembly of ductwork, structural components, or other fabricated parts - Collaborate with team members on project timelines and quality standards Experience - Proven experience in MIG welding, particularly with aluminum materials - Mechanical knowledge related to manufacturing, construction, or ductwork fabrication - Familiarity with rigging, crane operation, forklift handling, and basic machining techniques - Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately - Skilled in using calipers, hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and welding equipment - Knowledge of basic math for measurements and calculations relevant to fabrication tasks - Prior experience working in manufacturing or construction environments preferred but not required; training will be provided as needed This role is ideal for candidates committed to craftsmanship in aluminum welding with a focus on safety and quality.
