Heavy Equipment Operator- Loader/Skid Steer/Packer (Nisku)

SDC Services is currently seeking a skilled and reliable Equipment Operator to join our growing underground construction team. This position is ideal for an experienced operator who is confident running multiple pieces of equipment and takes pride in delivering safe, high-quality work. Responsibilities: - Operate loader, skid steer, and packer equipment safely and efficiently on a daily basis - Support underground construction activities, including water, sewer, and storm installation - Read and interpret site plans, grades, and utility locates - Work safely around live utilities and active construction environments - Complete daily equipment inspections, fueling, and minor maintenance - Communicate effectively with foremen, operators, and ground crew - Assist with general site duties as needed to support project progress Qualifications: - 3–5+ years of experience operating loader, skid steer, and packer in civil/underground construction - Strong understanding of underground construction practices and safety standards - Ability to operate multiple pieces of equipment efficiently and safely - Reliable, safety-focused, and detail-oriented - Ability to work in various weather conditions and job site environments - Valid driver’s license (Class 3 preferred) What We Offer: - Competitive wages based on experience - Steady, year-round work - Comprehensive benefits package - Chance to work on large-scale and challenging projects - Supportive team environment with room for growth If you are a dependable, multi-skilled operator looking to grow your career with a strong and reputable company, SDC Services would like to hear from you.
