Laboratory Assistant I (Leduc)

Your Opportunity: The team at Leduc Patient Service Centre (PSC) is looking to add a highly engaged, enthusiastic, and outgoing Medical Laboratory Assistant to join our team in this fast-paced, public-facing location. Here you will have the opportunity to work both independently and as a member of our team where you will be responsible for a variety of laboratory functions, including phlebotomy, ECGs and monitoring wait times to ensure you are providing the best service to your patients. In this role, you will be the first contact that patients have with the laboratory. This workplace allows you the ability to adapt and work effectively under pressure, utilize time management skills, and prioritize tasks within this everchanging environment. Your organization and communication skills will help you collaborate and maintain positive working relationships with internal stakeholders and other health care professionals. This position works Monday-Friday between 0800-1830 and every third Saturday between 0700-1530 at the Leduc PSC. Description: As a Medical Laboratory Assistant I, you will provide high quality service to clients of the clinical laboratory in an effective, efficient and safe manner.
