Cleaner / Invintory (Nisku)

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation across various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for staff and visitors alike. Cleaning of staff lunch rooms and office space as well as organizing paint room and putting away invintory. Sweep out shops when jobs are moved around. Duties - Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of floors and surfaces - Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and common areas to meet health and safety standards - Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly - Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and notify management when supplies need replenishing - Use appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and effectively - Follow established cleaning protocols to ensure consistency and quality of work - Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards identified during cleaning routines - Adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times - Organize and maintain paint room storage and invintory when delivery's are made. - Requirements - Previous custodial or commercial cleaning experience preferred but not required - Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision - Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards - Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including standing, bending, and lifting light to moderate loads - Reliable attendance record and punctuality - Ability to follow safety guidelines and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly This role is essential in creating a clean, safe, and inviting workplace.
