We’re building better structures, teams and communities Position summary The Lumber Estimator will provide superior customer service through proactive leadership and communication; driving efforts to increase market share while optimizing the utilization of assets and cultivate as many opportunities for greater profits. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform timely and accurate blueprint take-offs using customer supplied blueprints. Create accurate bids and materials price lists for sales staff in a timely manner. Forecasting and scheduling, ensuring projects and tasks are delivered on time. Follow established safety procedures for all assignments. Problem solving, strategic planning with the ability to implement solutions. Perform any other duties, responsibilities or tasks as assigned. REQUIREMENTS: Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of blueprints (architectural, structural and mechanical). Expertise in the rough framing and construction process.
