Position Summary

St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Schools invites applications for a temporary full‑time Grade4 teaching position at Sacred Heart School in Wetaskiwin, Alberta. This temporary Grade4 position covers a maternity leave, beginning August27,2026 and ending February19,2027. Key Responsibilities and Expectations

Teach Grade4 students and implement the Daily5 program. Support literacy and numeracy interventions as required. Assist with co‑curricular and extra‑curricular programs. Qualifications and Desired Assets

Certificate in Catholic Education from St. Joseph's College (asset). Experience with Daily5, literacy/numeracy interventions, and willingness to support extra‑curricular programming is an asset. Willingness to subscribe to and uphold the school’s Christ‑centered educational philosophy. Benefits

The Government of Canada offers students loan forgiveness to teachers who work in Wetaskiwin for 10 consecutive months and have a student loan in good standing, up to $30,000 over a maximum of five years. Application Requirements
