Join the Facilities Department as a Maintenance Worker, performing vital tasks in building maintenance and repair within the school division. This hands-on role includes installation and construction duties.

Under the guidance of the Project&Maintenance Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for various maintenance tasks, from preventative measures to urgent repairs. You will also engage in basic construction duties such as painting and welding, while ensuring playgrounds and other facilities remain safe and functional. Your expertise will be instrumental in maintaining a reliable service vehicle and effectively prioritizing work orders.

Key Responsibilities:• Conduct preventative maintenance on facilities • Handle basic construction projects • Inspect and fix playgrounds and roofing • Load and transport facility equipment • Assemble and move furniture as needed

Requirements:• Completed Grade 12 or equivalent • Two years’ maintenance experience • Valid Class 5 Alberta License • Basic computer skills required • Mechanical aptitude necessary
