Job Overview We are seeking a skilled experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating various types of heavy machinery to support construction, and reclamation projects. This role requires a robust focus on safety, precision, and reliability to ensure smooth operations across multiple job sites. Must have reclamation and remediation experience. Duties Operate heavy equipment such as Dozers and Excavators at a finishing level. Load and unload freight using appropriate machinery, ensuring proper handling and safety protocols. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards. Assist with automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to maintain equipment functionality. Support commercial driving tasks by transporting materials or equipment between locations as needed. Follow all safety procedures and regulations to prevent accidents and ensure a safe work environment. Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks efficiently and meet project deadlines. Qualifications Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, excavators, bulldozers, or loaders. Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred or required based on job scope. Knowledge of freight handling and logistics operations. Basic automotive repair skills are a plus for troubleshooting equipment issues. Robust understanding of safety standards related to heavy machinery operation. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift heavy loads when necessary. Prior experience in construction, industrial, or manufacturing environments is advantageous.
