Aircraft maintenance inspector (Leduc County)

Under the supervision of the aircraft maintenance program manager, the aircraft maintenance inspector at Nolinor plays a vital role in ensuring the quality and safety of aviation operations. Responsibilities - Issue AMO/AOC maintenance privileges and ensure delegated individuals hold appropriate licenses; - Approve and maintain weight and balance records, certificates of airworthiness, certificates of registration, and ensure their presence on board; - Supervise maintenance personnel training, perform work in progress inspections, and ensure compliance with maintenance procedures; - Monitor deferred defect items, deferred inspections, and modification/repair work; - Coordinate activities with suppliers and certification authorities, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations; - Conduct periodic reviews to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Required skills - College Diploma (DEC) or College Studies Certificate (AEC) in aircraft maintenance; - M2 license and a minimum of 10 years of experience in aircraft maintenance; - Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Pre-flight Mechanical Inspector in the aerospace industry. Requirements - Autonomy, initiative, and the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team; - Excellent communication skills to interact with team members, certification authorities, and suppliers; - Solid technical skills in aircraft maintenance, including an understanding of applicable standards and regulations; - Ability to perform thorough and accurate inspections, paying attention to detail; - Capability to manage and maintain maintenance records in compliance with regulatory requirements; - Knowledge of airworthiness management procedures and technical documentation; - Ability to effectively solve problems and make informed decisions in complex situations; - Commitment to safety and quality, with a deep understanding of aviation safety management systems.
