Overview
Silent-Aire Limited Partnership is a wholly owned subsidiary of Johnson Controls. Silent‑Aire is a technology‑driven company that designs, engineers and manufactures hyperscale cooling and modular data center solutions. This role is located at our facility in Nisku and requires reliable transportation for commute. It will be offered to work Monday‑Thursday night shift (6:15PM –5:45AM).As Picker, you will be responsible for picking and placing materials orders, staging materials, entering data into spreadsheets for record‑keeping, and loading, unloading and moving products and materials to designated locations in the warehouse and plant. Roles&Responsibilities
Load, unload, and move products and materials by hand or equipment. Sort and package fabricated parts onto a cart according to the subassembly list and deliver to point of use in the plant (manually or with equipment). Check to ensure subassembly counts are correct and meet visual quality inspection; report any discrepancies to the fabrication area.Assist in taking inventory and weighing/checking materials as needed. Pick orders and prepare for shipping: stacking, wrapping, and crating products. Pick material from warehouse for outbound orders and ensure high‑quality materials are shipped. Put away received materials to proper storage locations.Confirm inventory transactions are complete. Participate in clean‑up of yard and facility. Perform all duties in accordance with Silent‑Aire Limited Partnership safety program standards and Alberta Occupational Health and Safety Act, Regulations and Code. Perform other duties as assigned. Demonstrated ability to operate material handling equipment, including forklift truck. Knowledge of workplace safety and safe lifting and handling procedures. Ability to work efficiently as part of a team and independently. Effective verbal and written communication skills; good spoken English required for performance and safety.Time‑management skills. Working Conditions
The work environment presents natural hazards. Always adhere to safety policies (wear protective equipment). Employees may be exposed to uncomfortable settings such as cold or hot weather outdoors, and may stand, crouch, or sit throughout the day.
