Nisku General Labour– Fast Paced Role

Join our Nisku team as a General Labourer, dedicated to the preparation of OCTG in a high-speed production setting. This role emphasizes stringent quality standards and team collaboration.

You will work under the supervision of the Plant Supervisor, responsible for preparing OCTG for threading. Operations will include a range of equipment and tools, with a focus on following safety protocols. Your math skills will help measure dimensions with precision while contributing to general shop maintenance and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:• Utilize tools for preparing OCTG in the manufacturing plant • Adhere to WHIMIS standards for hazardous chemicals • Follow Argus standard procedures diligently • Accurately measure dimensions with various scales • Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work area

Requirements:• High school diploma with mathematics skills required • Experience in a machine shop environment is an asset • Forklift certification is a plus • Familiarity with measuring equipment • Comprehension of safe work practices in manufacturing
