General Labourer for OCTG Preparation, Nisku

Join our Nisku team as a General Labourer focused on OCTG preparation. You’ll work in a dynamic environment handling tools and equipment to meet stringent threading specifications.

In this role, you will report to the Plant Supervisor and be responsible for preparing OCTG for threading while ensuring all customer and threading licensors’ requirements are fulfilled. You'll gain hands-on experience with high-volume production and various machinery in the oil and gas sector.

Key Responsibilities:• Operate various manufacturing tools, including saws and overhead cranes • Handle hazardous materials adhering to WHMIS regulations • Follow Standard Operating Procedures with precision • Read work instructions and complete production documentation • Measure casing lengths using metric and imperial scales

Requirements:• Experience in a machine shop is an asset • Familiarity with measuring equipment and oil and gas products • Understand safe work practices and Quality Assurance needs • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly • Engage in continuous improvement processes
