Overview
Silent-Aire Limited Partnership is a wholly owned subsidiary of Johnson Controls. Silent-Aire is a technology driven company that designs, engineers and manufactures hyperscale cooling and modular data center solutions. This role is located at our facility in Nisku and you must have reliable transportation. This role will be offered to work Monday to Thursday Nightshift (6:15 PM - 5:45 AM) and Rotational Shift (6:00 AM - 6:00 PM).Roles&Responsibilities
Create and Maintain QA/QC control documentation. Document Control– organize all inspection documentation papers and online photos provided by inspectors. Daily inspection of in process units: ensure sealing is completed, no missing parts, and all other in process inspections are of high quality.Ensure productions are inspected as determined by company requirements, checking of paperwork. Daily inspection of paperwork for all in process units and report any deficiencies to Quality Supervisor. Complete sub assembly inspections such as: motor, coil, evap., furnace, and paint. Complete unit final inspections.Review inspection documents and make unit packages. Report any observed safety issues to the Safety Coach or Safety Coordinator. Assist with education of other inspectors and production team members. Inspect drawings and marking/breaking work and ensure it is correct. Assist marking with Engineering changes where drawings are not correct and submit to Quality Supervisor.Inspect all aspect of units with the appropriate forms from the beginning to the end and record all discrepancies. Organize all inspection documentation papers and online photos. Performs all duties in accordance with Silent-Aire Limited Partnership safety program standards and Alberta Occupational Health and Safety Act, Regulations, and Code.Other duties as required. Commercial/Industrial environment. Exercise caution, as the environment presents many naturally occurring hazards. Always adhere to safety policies (wear protective equipment). Long periods of standing. Overtime as required. Contacts Communication
