Job Details: - Position: We are looking for cooks. - Location: Rad Torque Raceway (50342 Range Rd 253, Edmonton International Airport, AB T9E 0V6) - Job Type: Seasonal, Casual - Hours: Mostly weekends & race days (varies based on event schedule) Responsibilities: - Prepare and cook a variety of fast-food items (hot dogs, burgers, fries, nachos, popcorn, etc.). - Follow proper food handling and sanitation guidelines. - Maintain knowledge of recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards. - Operate fryers, grills, warmers, and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently. - Monitor food temperatures to ensure safe serving conditions. - Restock ingredients, condiments, and supplies throughout the shift. - Notify supervisors of low-stock items or equipment issues. - Keep the concession area clean and organized. - Wash equipment, utensils, and surfaces regularly. - Dispose of trash and follow health department regulations. Qualifications: - Reliable transportation. - Previous experience in food and customer service. - Ability to work in a fast-paced setting. - Teamwork skills. - Must be available to work weekends and race days. - Food handler’s certification for cooks is an asset. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills. - Must be able to lift, move, push, pull and carry up to 25 lb. - Must be able to stand for long periods. - Must be ok with loud noises.
