As a Pharmacy Assistant, (Inventory) , you will have your own workspace and will be reporting to the Pharmacy Manager within our Lethbridge pharmacy. The position is responsible for technical functions concerning mostly obtaining and maintaining our database of valid prescriptions and data entry of new prescriptions into Kroll. You may also be involved in the filling of prescriptions and compounding functions as well as other administrative and shipping tasks when needed. Role Accountabilities: Perform inventory maintenance duties such as: ordering, receiving, expiry flagging, recalls and returns, maintaining Kroll inventory database, verifying costs and updating, dealing with drug shortages and vendor relationships Maintain customer and vendor service expectations in a timely manner, knowing when to involve manager or licensee Support daily operations including shipping duties, administrative tasks, removing cardboard and packaging from the pharmacy, filling and labelling prescriptions, some data entry of prescriptions and/or refills and other duties as assigned.
