Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our energetic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting warehouse operations, ensuring efficient processes in shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment. This position requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to operate various heavy equipment, including forklifts and clamp trucks. Responsibilities - Assist in the loading and unloading of materials and products using forklifts and clamp trucks. - Operate order pickers to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently. - Maintain organization within the warehouse by ensuring proper storage of goods. - Support shipping and receiving processes by verifying incoming and outgoing shipments. - Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with order picking as needed. - Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks and adherence to safety protocols. - Utilize mechanical knowledge for basic maintenance of equipment as required. - Build pallets or crates for shipping purposes when necessary. Requirements - Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred. - Proficiency in operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, and order pickers. - Strong mechanical knowledge to assist with equipment operation and maintenance. - Ability to lift heavy loads safely (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods. - Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills. - Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. - Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
