Outreach and Communications Assistant (Lethbridge)

Overview We are seeking an enthusiastic and organized Outreach and Communications Assistant to support community engagement, communication activities, and promotional initiatives. The ideal candidate will help strengthen relationships with partners, support outreach programs, and assist in creating engaging communication materials for both online and offline audiences. Responsibilities - Assist in planning and coordinating outreach activities and community engagement programs - Support communication campaigns and promotional initiatives - Create and manage content for social media, newsletters, and online platforms - Help maintain relationships with community partners, stakeholders, and participants - Respond to inquiries and provide communication support when needed - Assist with event promotion, registration, and coordination - Prepare reports, presentations, and outreach materials - Support public awareness and engagement efforts - Maintain accurate communication and outreach records - Collaborate with team members on organizational initiatives and projects Requirement - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Valuable interpersonal and teamwork abilities - Basic knowledge of social media and digital communication tools - Strong organizational and multitasking skills - Ability to engage professionally with diverse individuals and groups - Creativity and attention to detail - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines - Previous experience in communications, outreach, customer service, or community engagement is an asset but not mandatory Pay: From $15.00 per hour Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2o2z2z
