Journey Man/Apprentice Plumber (Lethbridge)

Overview We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Journey Man or Apprentice Plumber to join our team. We are currently looking for candidates with experience. As a Journey Man or Apprentice Plumber, you will work under the guidance of experienced plumbers, gaining hands-on experience and learning essential skills necessary for success in this field. You will be involved in various plumbing tasks, assisting with installations, repairs, and maintenance while adhering to safety standards and regulations. Responsibilities - Assist licensed plumbers with the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems. - Learn to read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand plumbing layouts. - Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various tasks. - Participate in construction projects including assembly and installation of plumbing fixtures. - Conduct routine maintenance on plumbing systems to ensure optimal performance. - Develop mechanical knowledge through practical application and training. - Collaborate with team members on job sites while maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Qualifications - Basic understanding of plumbing principles and systems is preferred but not required. - Mechanical knowledge with experience in carpentry, HVAC, or construction is a plus. - Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and maintenance practices. - Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documents effectively. - Strong basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing tasks. - Willingness to learn new skills and techniques related to plumbing work. - Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented workplace. - A valid driver's license and driver's abstract is required. - Join us and take the first step towards a fulfilling career in the plumbing industry!
