Residential Building Cleaner (Lethbridge)

Job Purpose This position is responsible for on site cleaning of the common space areas at Halmrast Manor and Haig Tower. As an employee and representative of Lethbridge Housing Authority, the building cleaner is expected to interact with tenants and people of varying backgrounds and perspectives and handle all tasks in a positive and qualified manner. Reporting Structure Reports to: Director of Asset Management Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for cleaning the common areas of the buildings, including but not limited to: · Sweep and mop, floors and stairs · Vacuum carpets and rugs · Change garbage in common areas · Clean and disinfect bathrooms (toilet, sink, fill dispensers) · Garbage room (sweep/ mop floor) · Dust furniture · Clean windows, walls, banisters · Clean and disinfect elevators · Clean and disinfect laundry room Qualifications Must pass a Criminal Record Check Physical Requirements Physically fit and able to move upwards to 50 lbs. Must be able to carry, lift and hold items in different positions for prolonged periods. Requires standing for prolonged periods Schedule Monday – Friday 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM are the hours of operation Total of 25 hours per week.
