As a seed cleaner, you will be responsible for the meticulous cleaning, sorting, and packaging of various seed types. You will collaborate closely with the research and production teams to maintain the highest standards of seed quality, purity, and germination rates. Whats in it for You? Rotating shifts of days and nights (night shift premium starting at $1/hr.) Position Summary: Operate and maintain seed cleaning equipment, such as air screen cleaners, gravity tables, and color sorters Adjust cleaning equipment settings as needed to achieve optimal seed quality and purity Inspect seeds for impurities, debris, and damaged grains, ensuring only high-quality seeds are processed Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely seed processing Maintain accurate records of seed cleaning activities and quality assessments Work closely with the quality control team to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations Participate in regular maintenance of equipment Follow all safety protocols and promote a safe work environment for yourself and your team Required Qualifications: Highschool diploma or equivalent Previous production experience Valid class 5 drivers license Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot and adjust equipment Excellent attention to detail with the ability to maintain high levels of accuracy in a fast-paced environment Flexible work schedule, working days AND nights is required with the chance of overtime during peak season Bonus Points For: Previous seed cleaning or harvest experience Forklift Certification Post-secondary agricultural education Right People.
