Plumber/Gasfitter (Fairview)

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Plumber/Gasfitter to join our team. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing and gas systems across various commercial and industrial projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, proficiency with hand tools, and the ability to interpret schematics and blueprints. Duties - Install, repair, and maintain plumbing and gas systems according to project specifications and safety standards - Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation and repairs - Utilize welding techniques such as MIG and TIG welding to assemble or repair metal components - Perform rigging tasks to move heavy equipment or materials safely within work sites - Conduct routine maintenance on plumbing fixtures, gas lines, and related mechanical systems - Use hand tools, calipers, and basic math skills to measure, cut, assemble, and install piping and fixtures - Collaborate with team members on complex projects involving HVAC systems or manufacturing processes - Adhere to all safety protocols and industry regulations during installation and maintenance activities Skills - Proven experience with plumbing, gasfitting, or related mechanical work in construction or manufacturing environments - Proficiency in MIG welding, TIG welding, and general welding techniques - Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and schematics reading for integrated system installations - Ability to read blueprints accurately and interpret technical schematics - Mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience using hand tools, calipers, and rigging equipment - Basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations during installation or repairs - Familiarity with manufacturing or construction safety standards and maintenance procedures - Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex system issues efficiently This position is essential for maintaining the integrity of plumbing and gas systems across our projects.
